See that Phillies scoreboard at Citizens Bank Park? It’s old. A relic. A postage stamp, replaced by a ginormous scoreboard that we’ll see soon enough.
Philadelphia isn’t the only National League East franchise getting an upgrade. The New York Mets expanded their scoreboard at Citi Field, and the team debuted it this week by playing some Mario Kart 64 on it. As expected, both are obnoxiously large, sort of like the one at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City (which was also used to play Mario Kart 64).
