The Masked Singer viewers 'rumble' Queen Bee's identity within minutes

The Masked Singer has already got TV viewers buzzing on social media as TV watchers believe they have uncovered Queen Bee's identity.

Shorty after the first contestant took to stage - dressed in an elaborate Bee costume - to belt out a tune TV watchers were sure that they knew who was the star.

Using Twitter to share their ideas a number of fans were convinced the masked celebrity was songstress Charlotte Church.

One guessed: "Queen Bee is surely Charlotte Church.... #TheMaskedSingerUK."

"Blatantly Charlotte Church. Why give such obvious clues!! #TheMaskedSingerUK," jibbed another.

One who seemed to recognise the Bee's voice added: "Sounds like Charlotte church #TheMaskedSingerUK."

They were offered clues from an interview shown during the show where Queen Bee revealed she was flung into the limelight at a young age and had a royal connections.

The panel wondered if it could be Kylie Minogue - but Ross shut down this theory by saying Queen Bee was too big to be the pint sized performer.

Others names threw about were Charli XCX, Margot Robbie and Emilia Clarke.

The surreal gameshow has 12 famous faces take on a masked identity and become a fantastic character which will disguise them for the whole series.
