The Masked Singer is the wacky celeb guessing game that has had the nation playing armchair detectives every Saturday night. The aim, as the stars sing in disguise wearing elaborate costumes, is for panellists Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Rita Ora to work out who they are as well as fans watching the ITV singing contest at home.
Fans include Steps singer Claire Richards, who had been happily sharing her guesses on Twitter, along with the rest of the nation. She previously put forward her own suggestion for Knitting earlier in the series. "#knitting Jane Macdonald!" she exclaimed.
However, One For Sorrow and Tragedy hitmaker Claire took to Twitter during tonight's episode (February 4) as she said she'd changed her mind. "Still so confused! #knitting. I don’t think it’s Jane Macdonald anymore but who???" she asked.

@MrBWainwright said: "You can’t pull the wool over our eyes, Claire love." @louisefrancis51 exclaimed: "It’s you!" And @BeckfordMalachi shouted: "ITS YOU."
@LouLouWorld also said: "It’s you sooo you." @Niknak1405 replied: "It's you haven't been a fan for 25 years to not know your voice." And @kates_angell said: "Cheeky."
Later they were proven right as Knitting was unmasked following the audience vote, and they did indeed turn out to be Claire. She was beaming as she was unveiled as the character and praised by the panel for her powerful voice.
