Adam Garcia has revealed that he insisted on a certain clue on The Masked Dancer, as some viewers were left 'confused' by his reveal as Onomatopoeia in Saturday's final.
After eight weeks of having ITV viewers playing armchair detectives, the latest run of The Masked Singer spin-off came to an end at the weekend, with just Onomatopoeia, Pearl King and Scissors left in the running as guests Dawn French and John Bishop joined the panel for the big occasion.
In line with many people's predictions, Strictly icon Bruno Tonioli was unmasked as Pearly King, before Scissors was revealed as Heather Morris, after she was announced as winner. Eventual runner-up Adam was discovered to be the celeb hiding in Onomatopoeia's costume, with Davina McCall and Oti Mabuse convinced it was him in the disguise after a tap dance routine a week earlier.

Plenty of ITV viewers had one big issue with The Masked Dancer final two - they didn't know who either of them were. Anyone who had never seen an episode of smash hit US show Glee were clueless as to who Heather was and, despite the fact that Adam has appeared on a number of stage shows and in hit Hollywood movie Coyote Ugly, he too proved to be a mystery for many people watcing at home.
Taking to Twitter, one reacted: "So #TheMaskedDancer runner up was Adam Garcia. I had to Google him cos I no idea who Adam Garcia is!!" Having the same problem, another tweeted: "Got no idea who Heather Morris or Adam Garcia are, therefore the final @MaskedSingerUK was completely lost on me."
Speaking in the aftermath, Adam revealed that there was one particular song he asked to perform to - Flashdance anthem What A Feeling, believing it would give his identity away to people who know their films.
He explained: "It was my idea of ‘what a feeling’ from Flashdance as Jerry Bruckheimer produced that as well as Coyote Ugly - one for the film buffs."
On how hard it was for him to keep his Masked Dancer secret, Adam added: "It’s not really hard but it does get tricky. It’s coming up with plausible alibis as to why you’re so busy and doing what? "
