Manchester United head into the summer transfer window hoping to fine-tune their squad as they seek further improvement.
Erik ten Hag's first season at Old Trafford has been a success with the Carabao Cup in the trophy cabinet and Champions League football set to be secured. The FA Cup could still follow when they take on Manchester City at Wembley next month.
United have made a striker their top target. Harry Kane is Ten Hag's No.1 attacking addition, while Victor Osimhen is also of interest. United are also keeping tabs on Rasmus Højlund and Randal Kolo Muani as cheaper alternatives if they are unable to sign either of their two preferred options.

Ten Hag is keen on adding another creative midfielder to their side at the end of the season too, though this is one area in which they most likely won't be able to afford a top target. Extra depth could also be added with fresh additions in a couple of positions and the sale of fringe players. It means for some senior United stars, they could be entering their final few weeks at the club.
Harry Maguire
The club captain has lost his place in the side under Ten Hag and it’s difficult to see how he gets it back. Victor Lindelof’s form since he was thrust into the side has been good while Luke Shaw has shown his ability at centre-back. Maguire is still under contract and could command a half-decent fee with other Premier League sides likely to be interested. It feels the right time for all concerned if he parts ways this summer.
Scott McTominay
The Scotland international has his place in a United squad but Casemiro and Christian Eriksen are ahead of him in the pecking order while Marcel Sabitzer could yet become a permanent addition to the ranks to swell competition further. It feels like a straight shoot-out between McTominay and Fred for the squad spot in midfield given United plan to strengthen in the middle of the park. The Brazilian has had the edge under Ten Hag in terms of league appearances.
Wout Weghorst
It hasn't worked out for the Dutchman. His arrival was something of a means to an end in January and it was a no-brainer for the striker to sign on at the time. But his loan only runs until the summer and while the 31-year-old would love to extend his stay, it's hard to see a role for him moving forward with United set to sign a leading number nine this summer.
Diogo Dalot
The Portugal international has made 22 starts in the league this season, twice as many as right-back rival Aaron Wan-Bissaka but in recent weeks it seems as though the latter might have the edge in the direct competition. Dalot is versatile and can fill in on the left, but Tyrrell Malacia is the long-term solution on that side as competition for Shaw.
It might be that Dalot and Wan-Bissaka remain but a new right back could well be on the cards. United have held talks with the representatives of Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong, with Ten Hag eager to add a more attack-minded option in that role. Dalot, at 24, could fetch a decent transfer fee to fund re-modelling elsewhere.
