The luxury million pound homes that are going to be built in one part of Cardiff

A series of luxury homes costing up to £1.5million are planned for one part of Cardiff. More than 20 deluxe homes are set for Lisvane, with over a fifth of the development having being sold so far, according to developers.

The Beaufort Park development will see 23 homes built on land north of Lisvane Road after planning permission was initially granted in 2006. The development, which is already under construction, consists of 23 four and five bedroom homes, with a show home - The Blenheim - set to open in September. Developers Edenstone Homes, based in Magor, announced the opening of their sales office for Beaufort Park in July this year. Working with Savills, five of the first ten homes have been reserved.

Permission to amend previously approved plans to build the houses on the land north of Lisvane Road was granted in June this year following an application submitted by Edenstone. The development is based on a site north of Lisvane Road and Portland Place and is due to be complete in autumn 2023.

Four of the homes that remain available range in price from £1,075,000 to £1,550,000. One of these, the Highclere (priced from £1,550,000) is built over 4,349 sq ft and set over three floors. The property's ground floor features a lounge, family area, dining room and kitchen, as well as a study, utility and cloakroom.

A principal bedroom suite with two dressing areas and a deluxe bathroom including a walk-in shower, freestanding bath and double vanity unit extends across the width of the house on the first floor. Additionally, this floor consists of three double en-suite bedrooms, while the top floor of the house has a further bedroom and bathroom with space that could be used as a cinema room, gym, games room, or another suite.

The Burghley, priced at £1,075,000, is set over 2,787 sq ft and includes a lounge, study, open plan kitchen, dining and family room, pantry, utility and cloakroom to the ground floor. Upstairs, each of the four bedrooms has an en-suite, with the principal bedroom also having a dressing area.

The specifications in the homes include a choice of Sigma 3 Masterclass contemporary and traditional kitchen styles with integrated brand name white goods appliances, extending to an undercounter wine cooler in the kitchen. The bathrooms in the homes, including multiple en-suites, also feature Tissino sanitaryware and ceramic wall tiling from Porcelanosa.

Edenstone Homes is also behind the Beaufort Garden development, also in Lisvane, which saw work begin on building 35 luxury four and five bedroom homes. This most recent development is not the only one to see new houses come to Lisvane, with hundreds of new homes set to be built as part of Redrow's Churchlands development.
