The Lunar Eclipse In Pisces / Supermoon Means It’s Time To Let Go Of Something (Or Someone)

It’s a big week for the spiritual freaks among us as the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces coincides with a supermoon. Spooooooky!

Eclipse Season can be a hectic time as the various eclipses are believed to spark major changes in all areas of your life, whether that’s your career, your love life, your friendships, your living sitch, and so on.

The energy of the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces and the supermoon are already hella potent, so let’s go through what you can expect over the next few days…

When is the Lunar Eclipse in Pisces / Supermoon?

Gird your loins, my friends, ‘cos the eclipse will begin at 10.41am (AEST) on Wednesday September 18, and reach its peak at 12.44pm and end at 2.47pm.

With that said, its energy will be felt in the days before and after it’s at its peak, so you’re probs feeling that spicy Pisces eclipse vibe already!

Can you see the Lunar Eclipse in Australia?

Sadly, we won’t be able to see the Lunar Eclipse as it reaches its peak during our daytime.

Boooooo hisssssss!

What about the Supermoon?

All hope is not lost, there will still be some gorgeous sights in the sky via the supermoon!

The moon will be at its fullest at 12.34pm (AEST) on Wednesday, meaning it will be at its most big and beautiful when it rises both that night and on Tuesday – although your best chance of seeing it will be on the Wednesday.

It’ll first rise around the 6pm mark all across Australia so keep your eyes on the skies!

What does it mean?

Because this eclipse falls on the Virgo-Pisces axis, it highlights the need to find a balance between order and chaos, holding on and holding go, being realistic and going with the flow, leaning into practicality and being a dreamer, and so on and so forth.

While Virgo’s vibe wants us to focus on the finer details and get our shit into gear (stick to our wellness routines, smash it at work, organise our lives, etc), dreamy Pisces is calling on us to follow our heart, wherever it may be leading us, and focus on fulfilling our emotional desires, whether it’s good for us or not.

When all is said and done, both Virgo and Pisces are healer signs, so following both of the aforementioned energies will serve you well. Life is all about finding a balance, after all.

The events that occur over the next few days will kick off a cycle that’ll last from now until 2027.

Eclipses carry transformative energy, and lunar eclipses in particular represent a need for letting go, moving on and finding closure.

Chappell Roan

Remember when Chappell Roan had to let go of her aquatic lover in the “Casual” video? That’s the vibe here.

You may find yourself mourning the loss of something (or someone), so please take care of yourself and those around you.

Just remember that whatever is meant to be will be — you can’t force anything.

Because of that Piscean energy, emotions will be heightened and everyone will be ON ONE. Be patient with yourself and others.

What should I do?

Well, in short: nothing. Lunar eclipses are all about slowing down and taking it easy. They’re not about making bold moves or taking action, UNLESS you’re deciding that it’s time to let something go.

The Lunar Eclipse in Pisces absolutely welcomes that energy. In fact, it encourages it.

Just pay attention to what’s going on around you. Observe what becomes highlighted, as this might be something that you need to put more effort and energy into.

Whether it’s how you feel about a particular person or situation, boundaries that need to be set, or any other emotional bombshells that drop. Don’t sweep them under the carpet, seize them and start unpacking.

To help you get through what’s to come, be sure to embrace your go-to wellness methods and tap into your creativity as a form of escapism.

Can I charge my crystals?

I wouldn’t recommend it, my friends.

You don’t want your gorgeous gems picking up the hectic vibes of the eclipse.

Can I manifest / set intentions?

No way, José!

Eclipse energy is far too erratic to manifest or set any intentions.

Just be still and enjoy the vibes.
