One thing to know right now: How a man was arrested over Brooklyn subway shooting
He's been charged with a terrorism offence. Here's what happened:

- A tip from the public led police to capture James on the street in Manhattan after an extensive manhunt. He was spotted in a McDonald's in Manhattan's East Village neighbourhood
- The shooting left five people in critical condition, but all 10 gunshot victims were expected to survive
- The shooter escaped in the chaos, but left behind numerous clues, including the gun, ammunition magazines, a hatchet, smoke grenades, gasoline and the key to a U-Haul van
- He faces a federal terrorism charge for violating a law prohibiting attacks on mass transit
- In recent months, James had railed in online videos about racism and violence in the US and about his experiences with mental health care. In one video he said:

- Russia could be on the brink of capturing the besieged Ukrainian city of Mariupol after a devastating seven-week assault

One more thing: There's a bear in there... again
Meet Juan Carrito.
You might remember him from his social media fame after he broke into an Italian bakery to eat fresh biscuits and leftovers earlier this year.
Well he's back, despite attempts to "rewild" him. He was taken to a national park about 160km away from Roccaraso (the town where he'd been hanging out and nicking treats) — but he walked back again.
That's it for now
We'll be back later on with more.
