One thing to know right now: Albanese 'visibly moved' by 'war crimes'
- The PM visited Bucha, Irpin and Hostomel — all known sites of brutal mass killings committed by Russian forces that have since been examined by war crimes investigators
- Mr Albanese said what he saw was "a war crime", adding:
- And the ABC's Europe Correspondent Steve Cannane said the PM was "visibly moved" as he was escorted through areas that were "brutally assaulted"
- Later at a press conference with Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Mr Albanese promised an extra $100 million in military aid, including another 20 bushmaster vehicles and 14 armoured personnel carriers

There were 69 evacuation orders live at 6:30am and the SES is urging people to follow those instructions. Here's where things stand:
- The latest orders were for Illawarra, Western Sydney and the Hawkesbury-Nepean areas
- There were 18 flood rescues overnight. They take the total rescues to more than 100, with more than 3,000 calls for help coming into the SES
- Floods are likely to exceed some levels reached in the three recent major Hawkesbury flood events since March 2021
- SES Assistant Commissioner Sean Kearns said residents don't have to wait for an evacuation order to leave:

- Six hikers have been killed in northern Italy after a large chunk of an Alpine glacier broke loose and slid down a mountainside, slamming into more than a dozen people on a popular trail. Rescuers are searching for more victims and a heatwave in the region is believed to have caused the fracture
- Ukraine's military has confirmed it was forced to withdraw its troops from the eastern city of Lysychansk following a sustained Russian offensive

One more thing: Minions latest makes massive box office debut
Families shelled out around $US108.5 million ($159 million) in ticket sales across the US for Minions: The Rise of Gru, and by the end of the July 4 weekend, it'll have earned $127.9 million, with its worldwide takings at $202.2 million.
So just how big is that?
The film is on track to become one of the biggest openings ever for this holiday weekend, a record previously held by Transformers: Dark of the Moon which made $115.9 million in its first four days in 2011
