One of the biggest queues seen at Download 2022 had around 250 to 300 people in it - and many may be surprised to hear that it wasn't for food, toilets or even music.
In fact, the excessively long queue was for festival-goers to get a tattoo. Derbyshire Live spoke to Michael Kidd, from Newcastle, and Johnny Webb, from Gloucester, who had been queuing for about two hours to get into the tattoo tent.
For Michael, getting a tattoo at Download has become a tradition and this was going to be his fifth one, while Johnny was getting his fourth. To get a tattoo at the tent, festival-goers must pick one of a variety of designs on display all with a price ranging from £50 to £300.

Michael said: "I am having one that is linked to Kiss, who I am looking forward to seeing tonight [Friday] as the headliner. Hopefully, we will be out the queue by then. It's something we always aim to do on the first day and then we can relax the rest of the weekend."
Johnny decided to go for a Biffy Clyro-style tattoo since they were headlining on Sunday Night. He added: "Also looking forward to seeing Steel Panther but opted for the Scottish-influenced tattoo in honour of Biffy Clyro". Michael's tattoo was £120, while Johnny was paying £140.
Some other festival-goers waiting for some new ink were Katie Vyse and Kerry Johnson, both from Bournemouth, who were planning to get Iron Maiden-style tattoos at £150 each. "It's the first tattoo I have ever had and I am quite nervous but obviously a lot of people are having it done so I am sure it will be ok. We have only just joined the queue so it could be a while yet - at least we can hear the main arena music from here."
A tattooist spokesman at Download confirmed that people would likely be waiting around four hours for a tattoo, estimating that they would be busy all day for the whole three days of the festival.
