The trailer for the long-awaited and highly anticipated sequel to the last Jurassic World film is finally here — and honestly, just from the casting alone, I think OG Jurassic Park star Jeff Goldblum would approve.
The film is called Jurassic World Rebirth and takes place five years after what went down in Jurassic World Dominion. Plus, it was written by David Koepp, the screenwriter who did the original film, and directed by Gareth Edwards, who directed Godzilla.

What is the plot of Jurassic World Rebirth?
In the years after Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s landscape has become unsuitable for more dinosaur life. The few that are still thriving are centralised to small, isolated pockets in rainforest-like climates where they once belonged.
When scientists realise that the three biggest creatures across the land, air and sea in the tropical area hold the secret to a drug that would save humankind in their DNA, they have to take on a seemingly impossible mission to retrieve it.
A mission to the dinosaur-filled lands is led by skilled covert operations expert Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) who is tasked with the top-secret mission to retrieve the DNA material. However, Zora’s mission gets muddled by a civilian family who were capsized by aquatic dinosaurs whilst on a boating expedition. As a result, they all find themselves as castaways on a forbidden island that the secret research facility for Jurassic Park was on.
It’s there that they discover a shocking truth hidden from society for generations.
Who is in Jurassic World Rebirth?
Scarlett Johansson leads the charge as Zora Bennett. She’s joined by Wicked star Jonathan Bailey who plays hot, glasses-wearing paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomiss. Oscar-winner Mahershala Ali plays Duncan Kincaid, Zora’s trusted second-in-command.
Rupert Friend is Martin Krebs, a Big Pharma warrior and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo plays the father of the shipwrecked family, Reuben Delgado.
The supporting cast also includes Luna Blaise, David Iacono, and Audrina Miranda as Reuben’s family. Plus Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain and Ed Skrein as other members of Zora’s team.
