The Detroit Lions have agreed to trade cornerback Jeff Okudah to the Atlanta Falcons, according to numerous reports. Per Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Okudah will head to Atlanta for a 2023 fifth-round pick.
It ends a tumultuous three seasons in Detroit for Okudah, the No. 3 overall pick of the 2020 NFL draft.
Okudah played in just 25 games in his three seasons, missing major chunks of time with injuries. The most notable includes an Achilles tear in Week 1 of the 2021 season. He played his best football early in the 2022 season before a concussion sidelined him midseason.
