Lidl has been spotted selling a weighted blanket from a popular brand that is helping shoppers sleep better.
The Silentnight 6.8kg Weighted Blanket is currently priced at just £39.99 - £20 cheaper than its original retail mark-up price - as part of the budget supermarket chain's incredibly popular Middle Aisle selection.
Shoppers can find the same blanket for £60 on the official Silentnight website, while Next shoppers would be set back £70, The Liverpool Echo.
A description for the product reads: "Introducing calm, relaxation and a great big hug, all wrapped up in one comfortable blanket. The Silentnight Wellbeing Weighted Blanket is natural sleep therapy at its best."
The blanket aims to to apply gentle pressure to help the user get a good night's rest and it is not intended to be used anyone under the age of 18, or by anyone with respiratory conditions such as asthma.
Shoppers who have previously purchased the blanket have shared their feedback to the Silentnight website, with many praising it for helping aid a restful night's sleep.
One person said: "Since using the blanket I find that I fall asleep a lot quicker and I stay asleep for longer. I I usually toss and turn".
