Aldi and Lidl’s middle aisle is a secret favourite for many shoppers, where a lot of the time you pick up the most random bits, but sometimes you come across absolute gems.
Over the next week or so, both budget grocers have some pretty handy and budget-friendly items, from gym equipment to everything you could possibly need for a home DIY project in stores.
There is also a massive baby event happening in Lidl at the moment with huge deals on cots, clothes, and toys, as well as a toy clearance sale on Saturday with 50% off everything.
So here’s what will be hitting the shelves over the next few days.
Aldi
January 27
It’s all about cooking and comfort in Aldi’s middle aisle today with popular products for a bargain price.
There are slow cookers available for €34.99, an air fryer for just €54.99, milk frothers from €24.99, and an oven fan at €24.99.
Then there is a whole range of bedroom and sleepover necessities from January 27, with a queen-sized air mattress for €49.99, a whole range of mega bounce duvets from €22.99, and a large selection of duvet sets and rugs starting at €12.99.
January 30
From Sunday, if you don’t want your New Year fitness journey to come to an end, but are nervous about the crowds in the gym, there is a huge range of equipment landing on January 30.
There will be Core, Pilates, and Yoga kits with everything you need in one small box for €19.99 as well as barbell sets from €39.99, a crane running lead for €10.99, and a pushup board for €12.99.
If that isn’t enough for your workout needs there will also be weight plates, dumbbells, kettlebells fitness mats, and plenty more available starting from €9.99.
Lidl
January 27
Lidl’s ‘Big Baby Event’ started today with all the essentials available in their middle aisle for new and existing parents.
You can pick up a home safety starter kit for just €9.99, Tommee Tippee bibs for €3.99, and nature bottles for €9.99.
If you’re looking to purchase some other essentials, there is a travel cot with a built-in changing area for €119.99, a Motorola baby video monitor for €54.99, and a nappy bin for €24.99.
They also have baby toys, towels, and clothes available in stores now.
January 31
As of Monday, Lidl will be bringing in everything you could possibly need for a DIY project at home.
They’ll have inverter welders for €94.99, a portable metal band saw for €99.99, and an air stapler for €27.99 among other things.
They will also be selling a DIY assortment of wrenches and pliers for just €3.49, work gloves for €3.49, and plenty more.
If you’re looking to update your self-care tools they’ll also have an entire range in-store from Monday.
Hot Air Brushes will be just €22.99, hairdryers €12.99, and volume hairdryer brushes for €19.99.
For the men, there will be cordless beard trimmers at €16.99, a body groom set for €27.99, and a Phillips shaver 1000 series for €29.99.
