Joe Gormley has revealed how the boots he wore in Sunday's League Cup final were a pair of hand-me-downs from former teammate Liam Boyce.
Gormley was on target twice as the Reds came from 2-0 down to beat Coleraine 4-3 in front of 11,000 fans at Windsor Park.
The first was a clinical header to make it 2-1, with the second a simple tap-in to wrap up a remarkable comeback victory for Paddy McLaughlin's side.

Gormley and Boyce are best mates and once formed a formidable partnership when Cliftonville claimed successive league titles in 2013 and '14.
Boyce left Solitude for Ross County in 2014, and went on to have a spell with Burton Albion before joining Hearts in 2020.
The 30-year-old also has 28 caps for Northern Ireland, and it appears he has also been keeping Gormley stocked up with boots.
"Without a doubt. Liam Boyce is just different class, and he deserves everything that comes his way. He has been outstanding," Gormley told Belfast Live's That's What I Call Football podcast.
"Funny enough I was wearing his boots on Sunday. I never wear studs, and I don't have a pair of studs.
"A few years ago I asked Boycie if he had any boots for me, and he said 'I have a pair of these here' and I was like 'happy days', and he sent them over.
"And then the other night we were all in the group chat and I sent him a picture of the boots from Sunday and he goes, 'no way, they're not mine, are they?'.
"I just said, 'aye, have you any more?'. He said he had loads so I sent him my address. Hopefully I have a few more pairs coming this week.
"He sent me the cup final boots a while go, and I have worn them about six or seven times. I don't normally wear studs but Windsor was cutting up bad on Sunday, so I decided to wear studs.
"Boycie might take some credit, but he can take all the credit he wants if he sends me some more."
Meanwhile, Gormley says messing about with young son Lorcán's toy football in the house has made him better at heading.
He revealed: "I used to think I was really bad at heading, but I think I have improved.
"The child has a wee football, and my partner Aoife throws it back and forth to me and I head it.
"So I think she is taking all the credit for it now. We would be sitting on the sofa and she would throw it to me and say 'head it'.
"And I've scored more headers this season."
