When it comes to digging deep into one’s bag of tricks to deliver a knockout punch on the basketball court, there may be no example with a deeper bag than Hall of Fame Boston Celtics small forward Paul Pierce.
One of the most clutch NBA players in the history of the league, the Los Angeles native had it all when he needed it, digging up some elite footwork to sit his opponents down on the parquet or pick up a foul while making a shot for an old-fashioned 3-point play. And his peers in the league remember it all too well after being on the wrong end of a Pierce explosion themselves.
