Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, says the next national election will be a de facto vote on Scottish independence after the Supreme Court’s landmark decision on indyref2.

The UK’s highest court concluded that the Scottish Parliament does not have the power to hold a second independence referendum.
