West Ham United left-back Arthur Masuaku is currently on a season-long loan with Turkish club Besiktas.
So far, the Democratic Republic of Congo international has played in 12 of Besiktas' 13 league games in the Super Lig and according to WhoScored.com has been their fourth-highest rated player in league matches this season.
With two assists in 12 league games so far this term, West Ham’s Masuaku is in a Besiktas squad that includes former Tottenham Hotspur trio Dele Alli, Gedson Fernandes and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, although a poor run of form has seen them drop to eighth ahead of the World Cup break.

Having been a regular this season, reports in Turkey are claiming that should Masuaku’s appearances for the season climb to 25 or higher, Besiktas would be entitled to sign him permanently on a three-year deal.
That is according to NTV Spor who claim that West Ham would be obliged to pay a fee of €2.2 million (£2 million) to take him permanently, with his contract at the London Stadium due to expire in 2024.
However, that clause is reportedly tempting Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes into replacing the African left-back in the January window to avoid having to sign him permanently.
Emerson was signed from Chelsea in the summer in Masuaku’s place with the defender falling down the pecking order under David Moyes. Since moving to West Ham from Olympiacos in 2017, Masukau has played 129 times for the Hammers, scoring twice.
