Bo Nix came out of the 2024 NFL combine with some buzz, although not everyone agrees the Oregon QB is a bona fide starting quarterback.
But some NFL mock drafts have had Nix in the first round, perhaps dropping to some QB-starved team that can afford to wait. He wasn’t in the first round of Christian D’Andrea’s latest mock. But in the new mock draft from NFL.com’s Charles Davis, Nix is right there at No. 12 to … the Denver Broncos.
Given that they’re moving on from Russell Wilson and don’t really have a QB of the future, this could make sense. Here’s what Davis had to say:
This might be a surprise to some at No. 12, but it’s not a surprise that Broncos HC Sean Payton could be interested in a passer whose accuracy in his last two college seasons was reminiscent of Drew Brees.
There you have it! Make sure to check out the latest NFL mock draft from our Christian D’Andrea, and the full first-round order for the draft in April.
