“The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” follows Coriolanus Snow who’s the last hope of his failing lineage, a once-proud Snow family that has fallen from grace in a post-war Capitol.

Coriolanus’ livelihood is threatened, Snow is assigned to mentor Lucy Gray Baird, a tribute from the impoverished District 12.

With everything that Snow had worked for hanging in the balance, Snow unites with Lucy Gray to turn the odds in their favor.

Battling his instincts for both good and evil, Snow sets out on a race against time to survive and reveal if he will ultimately become a songbird or a snake.

The latest Hunger Games movie is directed by Francis Lawrence, who has directed “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” (2013), “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” (2013), “I Am Legend” (2007), and “Constantine” (2005).

The previous Hunger Game films have casted notable actors that includes Jennifer Lawrence and Woodey Harrelson.

The latest Hunger Games film stars Tom Blyth (“Robin Hood” 2010), Rachel Zegler (“West Side Story” 2021), Peter Dinklage (“Game of Thrones”), Hunter Schafer (“Euphoria”), Josh Andres Rivera (“West Side Story” 2021), Jason Schwartzman (“Rushmore” 1998), and Viola Davis (“Suicide Squad” 2016).

Zegler is currently the leading in this film as Lucy Gray but is taking a different approach from the main character that Lawrence played, Katness.

“She’s a very different dynamic, in response to being placed in an arena in front of a bunch of people and having to make the world root for her — she’s very good at that,” said Zegler said in a press conference. “She’s very persuasive in her performance and very good at getting an audience on her side.”

Blythe is playing role of Coriolanus Snow, who’s fighting to be the most success in his family.

“When I got the call, I was ec- static for a moment,” said Blyth, 28, in a recollection about being casted in the latest film. “And then I was like, ‘Oh, s***, I actually have to do this. I have to play this character, when there’s already such a big cinema folklore around him.”

The film is produced by Nina Jacobson, Brand Simpson, and Francis Lawrence.

The executive producers for the film are Suzanne Collins, Mika Saito, Jim Miller, and Tim Palen.

The film is distributed by Lionsgate. It is aiming to make a box office hit of $100 million and over this weekend.
