As the childhood sweetheart and adored husband of Coral, beloved dad to Cheryl, Wendy and Jo, much loved father-in-law of Peter and cherished grandfather and great-grandfather to Bec, Rhys, Adam, Emma, Owain, Katie, Brianna and Ariella, he leaves a legacy of wonderful memories. He is remembered not only for the love of his family, but his overwhelming friendliness, kindness and always being the first to offer help to others. Anyone who knew Austin knew about his zest for life and enthusiasm to learn about anything and everything - and how to master it. He enjoyed a full and interesting life, participating in scouts, cycling and dinghy racing with Coral for many years. A talented man, he was a master of DIY, a stained-glass and watercolour artist, and potter. In later years he delighted in travelling around Africa and Asia with Coral and Cheryl, where he would talk with people from all over the world. Everyone who met him, loved him. Dad sadly gained his angel wings on Tuesday, 29th November at Morriston Hospital surrounded by all who loved him. Martin is the son of the late Susan and Paul. The most wonderful Dad to Leigh, Thomas and Kieran. A super Bampa to Tommy-Jay, Toby and Timmy. Adored partner of Sam. Loving brother to Anthony and Carl. A cherished Uncle, Nephew and Cousin to all of his many relatives and a dear friend to Julie and Kirsty. Dad will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
