Marjorie Joan Pearcy (Melhuish)
(Melhuish) Marjorie, 97, of Llanishen, Cardiff, died peacefully on 12 June 2023. She was at home, as she wished, surrounded by family. Born in Chard, Somerset, Marjorie met the love of her life, the late Albert 'Bert' Pearcy, at a dance. They were a devoted couple and keen dancing partners during their 68 years together. She was adored by so many; as a loving mum, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt, as well as a loyal friend and neighbour. She often stated "I've had a good life". We were extremely lucky to have had her with us for so long and hope she is reunited with her Bert. Donations, in lieu of flowers, would be gratefully received and given to Alzheimer's Society.
