The states and territories are now reporting their COVID-19 statistics weekly, instead of through the daily updates that were provided from the early days of the pandemic.

Australian Capital Territory
The ACT reported no COVID-19 deaths in the week to 4pm on Thursday.
There are currently 69 people with the virus in hospital in the territory, but none of them are in an intensive-care ward.
There were 730 new cases recorded over the past week.
New South Wales
NSW reported 69 COVID-19 deaths in the week to 4pm on Thursday.
There are 1,176 people with the virus in hospital, with 24 in intensive care.
There were 14,170 new cases recorded over the past week.
Victoria
Victoria is reporting its COVID deaths as a seven-day rolling average. It reported 11 lives lost on average each day over the week to 4pm on Thursday, for an approximate total of 80.
The state also reported 10,360 new coronavirus cases.
There are currently 169 people with the virus in Victorian hospitals, with eight of those people in ICU.
Queensland
Queensland recorded 37 COVID-19 deaths between September 14 and September 20.
The state also recorded 9,166 new virus cases.
There were 152 people with the virus in Queensland hospitals as of midnight on September 20. Seven of those patients were in intensive care.
South Australia
South Australia reported 23 COVID-19 deaths in the week to 4pm Thursday, bringing the state's total to 929.
There are 50 people in hospital with the virus, with six of those people in intensive care.
There were 3,037 new cases recorded over the past week.
Northern Territory
The NT reported one new COVID-19 death in the week to 4pm on Thursday — the historical death of a woman in her 80s.
There are currently 11 people with the virus in hospital in the territory. One of those patients requires ventilation but no-one is in ICU.
There were 379 new cases recorded over the past week.
Western Australia
The state recorded nine more COVID-19 deaths in the week to 4pm Thursday, ranging from people aged in their 70s to older than 100 years.
There are 134 cases in hospital, with two of those people in intensive care.
There were 5,055 new cases recorded over the past week.
Tasmania
Tasmania has reported no new deaths in the seven days to 4pm on Thursday.
The state reported 923 new cases of the virus.
There are 20 patients in hospital with COVID-19, one of which is in the ICU.
