We all know there’s all sorts of information out there about where Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy is going in the 2024 NFL draft — it could be in the top-3, it could be outside the top-5 if a team like the Vikings move up, and so on.
But what about Oregon QB Bo Nix? There are mocks with him in the first round … and then he’s been left out of Day 1. In our latest mock draft from Christian D’Andrea, he projects Nix as a Day 2 pick (to the Raiders) and McCarthy going No. 5 to the Broncos who would trade up in that scenario to grab a QB of the future.
In the latest mock from Touchdown Wire, Doug Farrar has McCarthy going to the Vikings at No. 11 without having to trade up and then the Broncos getting nix at No. 12. Interesting!
