The buzz about Bo Nix being a first-round quarterback in the 2024 NFL Draft hasn’t been that loud, although some mocks have had the Oregon QB in the first.
In our latest mock from Christian D’Andrea, Nix isn’t a first-round QB to go with Drake Maye, Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels, but Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. is. In the new mock draft from Chris Trapasso at CBS Sports, Nix goes No. 12 overall to the Denver Broncos, who of course need to start over at the QB position and have a few candidates to choose from.
Here’s the reasoning behind that pick:
If the Broncos do trade Russell Wilson, they’ll of course be in the quarterback market. Nix became an awesome point guard after transferring to Oregon, and that’s precisely what Sean Payton would ask him to do in his offense.
