Manchester United fans are calling for Alejandro Garnacho to be given his chance in the first team next season after impressing yet again on Friday night.
Despite not starting for United’s Under-23s against Everton, the 17-year-old made an instant impact after coming off the bench. The teenager provided a couple of brilliant assists for D’Mani Mellor as the home side won 3-0 at Old Trafford.
Garnacho has been one of the academy’s brightest stars this season, and he once again underlined his quality as the hosts eased past the Toffees. The winger played a major part in United’s Under-18s reaching their first FA Youth Cup final since 2011 this season, having scored in the semi-final win over Wolves.

And his latest performance came just hours after he was named in the Argentina squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers. The teenager will hope to make his international debut as La Albiceleste take on Venezuela and Ecuador later this month.
United fans were keeping a close eye on Garnacho’s latest performance in the Premier League 2. Having seen him once again impress, many of them had a message for whoever becomes the club’s new manager in the summer.
Despite earning an international call-up, Garnacho is yet to make his senior debut at United. Given his performances with the youth team this season, it might not be long before we see him handed his opportunity in the first team. Ralf Rangnick may even be tempted to offer him his big chance before the end of the season.
