The Kapil Sharma Show: Kapil reveals his two-year-old daughter Anayra sees Amitabh Bachchan on TV and calls him 'Rock n Roll Uncle'

The Kapil Sharma Show's latest episode saw three stalwart singers - Shailendra Singh, Padmashree Anup Jalota and Sudesh Bhosale. They made their entry by singing their respective popular songs. As the show begun, Shailendra Singh shared that he and Rishi Kapoor made their debut in the industry with the film, Bobby (1973). The legendary Raaj Kapoor had signed Shailendra for the film as he wanted a fresh and solid voice for Rishi. Another reason was that Raj Kapoor's dear friend's name was also Shailendra. The seasoned singer also revealed some interesting anecdotes about how Rishi Kapoor would ask to forward him some love letters received by female fans post the film and its songs' success. Rishi ji was a month elder to Shailendra.

Next, Kapil, Archana Puran Singh and the audience was mesmerised to hear Sri Anup Jalota sing 'Solah Baras Ki Baali Umar Ko Salaam.' Kapil welcomed him by touching his feet. Sudesh Bhosale sand a medley and the audience cheered 'Once more.' To which, Kapil Sharma said that the fun has just begun. Kapil teased Archana by saying that she wants Shailendra ji to sing a song for her. The singer happily obliged. He sang, 'Hoga Tumse Pyaara Kaun' and replaced 'Kanchan' word from the song with 'Archie.' He made a revelation that Archana's pet name is Archie. Archana was touched by this gesture and she said this has always been her all-time favourite song and now Shailendra ji has given her all the more reason to love it.

Sudesh Bhosale, who is known for singing songs for Amitabh Bachchan, narrated the story of the song, 'Jumma Chumma De De' and how Big B had heard a music in South Africa, which was included in Jumma Chumma's 'mukhda'. Kapil then went on to praise Amitabh Bachchan and wished for him to always stay healthy. He then shared a tale from the time when he appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by the megastar. Kapil shared that his two-year-old daughter Anayra loves the song 'Rock and Roll Soniye' and upon seeing him with Amitabh Bachchan, she screamed, 'Rock and Roll uncle.' This made everyone go 'aww.' Archana and Kapil spoke about how Amitabh Bachchan has fans from all the generations.

Sudesh Bhosale then continued to speak about the success of the song, 'Jumma Chumma' and said that he sung it in 19 languages but singing in South Indian languages were difficult for him. Sudesh sang for everyone and said that the South music directors wanted him to sing like S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. Sudesh was appaluded with a standing ovation. Shailendra and Anup Jalota joked that Sudesh brings variety with him and therefore he should be called solo.

Sudesh Bhosale then says that he'll become Sapna, do parlour jobs, crack jokes and sing and pleads the channel to hire him. Kiku Sharda enters as lawyer and introduces himself to Bhajan Samrat, Anup Jalota. Kapil intervenes and says, he is Bhojan Samrat. Kiku's character tickles everyone's funny bones and cracks a joke on Archana Puran Singh and her husband Parmeet Sethi too.

After his character makes an exit from the stage, Kapil plays the segment 'Post Ka Postmortem,' which makes everyone laugh their hearts out. While reading out a comment, Archana corrected Kapil's pronunciation and it was a hearty sight to watch. During the same post's discussion, Sudesh was awarded with an alcohol bottle in the US. Kapil was happy to see and said, "Aise Awards rakhne chahiye."

Sudesh narrated when Amitabh Bachchan called up Sapna Mukherjee - the owner of a studio to get that space, she refused to believe and kept saying, 'Sudesh, don't disturb. Keep the phone.' This happened repeatedly and finally she understood that it was Amitabh Bachchan. The same incident happened with Mithun Chakraborty too. The trio set the ambience with their melodious voices and songs, Kapil also joins them. Archana Puran Singh joins them on stage and the show ends with Kapil requesting everyone to follow social distancing and continue to practice Covid protocols.
