The Jokic brothers heckled Jack Nicholson courtside after the Nuggets beat the Lakers

The Nuggets defeated the Lakers on Saturday night and after the game, Denver superstar Nikola Jokic celebrated with his family.

Jokic finished the game with 24 points, six rebounds, eight assists and one steal to secure a 3-0 series lead over Los Angeles. Following the victory, Jokic was met by his two older brothers, Nemanja and Strahinja.

Nemanja and Strahinja are very involved in Nikola’s career and were even part of the negotiations when Jokic signed an extension with the Nuggets in 2022.

You may remember the Jokic brothers (and their shared Twitter account) from a near skirmish against the Suns in June 2021 and potential beef with the Heat in November 2021.

After briefly connecting with the Denver superstar following another dominant performance, the Jokic brothers reportedly shared some trash talk with the fans while in Los Angeles.

According to Altittude’s Vic Lombardi, that included an exchange with Lakers superfan and world-famous actor Jack Nicholson — who has been attending games in Los Angeles again after an extended hiatus.

The back-and-forth was captured on video and it was quite a scene.

Nikola’s middle brother, Nemanja, was seen wearing a replica Jokic jersey with black-and-white zebra print pants. He gave a thumbs up to Nicholson (like the recent meme) as the actor walked by their seats.

As the video continued, you can hear Strahinja yell “See you next year!” and “bye bye!” as the actor left the arena.

The two brothers then pounded each other’s fists as they soaked in Denver’s huge victory in Los Angeles. It would have been quite a sequence to watch unfold if you were nearby.

If the Nuggets and Heat both advance to the NBA Finals, and the Jokic brothers decide to attend in Miami, tensions may be high.
