The Inbetweeners star sends hilarious motivational speech to Derry forward Benny Heron

Derry's veteran forward Benny Heron is a bit of a cult hero among the Oak Leafers faithful. So much so that he has his own dedicated tribute account on Twitter with over 1200 followers.

And today that account delivered an excellent celeb shout-out through 'The Inbetweeners' actor James Buckley.

He played the hits brilliantly as he used some of his character Jay's most famous phrases while delivering a motivational message ahead of Saturday's All-Ireland semi-final against Galway.

You can watch and enjoy below.

Heron has been a feature throughout what's already been a magical summer for Derry and even nabbed a critical goal in their provincial win over Monaghan.

Having already lifted the Anglo-Celt Cup for the first time since 1998, Rory Gallagher's side now have their sights set on Sam Maguire.

It's looking an ever more realistic goal too as the two favourites in Kerry and Dublin are facing off against one another on Sunday in the other semi-final.

And while whoever wins that one will likely go into the decider as the favourite, both have question marks since the mystique around Dublin has dissipated since the departure of Jim Gavin and a host of legendary players while Kerry were lacklustre the last day despite eventually pulling away from a wasteful Mayo side.

Their ongoing over-reliance on David Clifford, who is carrying some sort of a knock, now has plenty of fans and commentators backing The Dubs to come out on top.

Saturday's game meanwhile should also be a cracker as both teams have already shown they possess the firepower to put a big score up in Croke Park.

Derry repeatedly sliced Clare open on their way to a 5-13 to 2-8 cruise in their quarter-final (with Heron bagging 1-1) while Galway deservedly emerged the winners on penalties after an instant classic versus Armagh.

The only way their match-up with Galway could end up being a letdown is if Gallagher opts to 'park the bus' and employ an extremely defensive game-plan which he is prone to doing regularly enough.

Perhaps that was the subtext of Buckley ending his speech with another gem from the iconic series when he said "Benny, get out there. Get the job done...and don't be a bus wanker."
