The Hundred squads in full as franchise tournament announces star wildcard overseas picks

The second edition of The Hundred is due to get underway in August, with eight franchises set to battle it out in the men's and women's tournaments.

Last year, Southern Brave won the men's competition after a brilliant half-century from Ireland star Paul Stirling led them to a 32-run victory over the Moeen Ali-led Birmingham Phoenix. Oval Invincibles, meanwhile, won the women's competition thanks to a stunning all-round display from South Africa's Marizanne Kapp against Southern Brave in the final.

This year, teams have been permitted to sign a fourth overseas player to be part of their squad, with those picks announced on June 9. Pakistan quick Mohammad Hasnain, who has only just been cleared to bowl again after remodelling his action, and veteran South Africa spinner Imran Tahir, who took the first-ever hat trick in The Hundred last year, are among the top men's picks.

India all-rounder Deepti Sharma and veteran New Zealand star Suzie Bates headline the women's picks. Each side will also be able to select a domestic wildcard player on July 7, following the conclusion of the T20 Blast group stages.

With that in mind Mirror Sport brings you all eight squads from both the men's and women's tournament ahead of the latest season of The Hundred.
