Parklife weekend is so close now that you can almost hear the bass. As more than 80,000 people descend on the city for a weekend’s dancing, some might have left sorting a bed out a bit late.
And while there are still what appear to be plenty of vacancies for the time being, Parklifers might struggle to find anything at what might be considered a reasonable price. A handful of beds remain available at locations out of town for the £200 mark, but anything approaching the centre will cost well north of £250 for a night’s kip **.
Cheapest, via a scan of booking sites, appears to be £199 for a night at the Airport Hotel south of the city in Northenden. But coming any further in, and the cheapest bed in the city centre is currently at the infamous Sacha’s in the Northern Quarter, for £259.

A double room at the equally infamous Britannia will set you back £265, while the Trafford City, by the Trafford Centre, and Oxford Road Holiday Inns are offering a double at £269.
After that, prices ramp up to £299 at Hotel Football by Old Trafford, £300 for a night at The Alan on Portland Street or £335 for the ABode by Piccadilly.
Anything near the Parklife site at Heaton Park has long since sold out, though some one bedroom apartments are still listed around Cheetham Hill - but only if you have nearly £500 to shell out.
Parklife happens on June 10 and 11. Weekend and Saturday tickets are sold out, but a few remain for Sunday. Among those on the bill include Aitch, The 1975, The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Self Esteem, Little Simz and Skrillex.
