Get ready for plenty of twists and turns in the latest new TV thriller, The Holiday. The drama is set to air across four-nights on Channel 5.
If you're a fan of the soaps such as Emmerdale or Coronation Street, BBC's Killing Eve, or Doctor Who, you may recognise some of the familiar faces starring in this new series. It follows four families on what is meant to be a trip of a lifetime that goes disastrously wrong.
But tensions amongst the group are high and lies begin to unravel. It's not just the adults keeping secrets, but the younger generation too.

The cast includes four families who are gathering together to have a dream holiday in a luxury villa on the island of Malta. But the holiday turns sour, when dark secrets come to light and some are willing to take extreme measures to keep their secrets hidden.
Jill Halfpenny (Waterloo Road, Byker Grove) will play the lead character Kate, a police officer who discovers her husband has been cheating on her with one of her best friends.
Speaking about how the cast got on during filming, Jill said: "T hey were all lovely, and funny, which is always a good thing. Aiden McArdle especially is very fun, and we all had the same mindset, trying to make it a nice job while also getting the work done.
"Everyone missed their family though, it’s really hard not to be able to go back at all. Owen was doing story time and bedtime on Zoom every night with his kids, which was really sweet."
Meet the cast members playing Kate's family:
- Owen McDonnell (Killing Eve, The Bay) as Sean, Kate's husband
- Lara McDonnell (Artemis Fowl) as their teenage daughter Lucy
- Aidan McCann (Red Rock) as the son Daniel
Their family will also be joined by Kate's three best friends from university - Jenny, Rowan and Izzy - who will be played by:
