The Heavy North announce UK tour - how to get tickets

The Heavy North have announced a UK tour with dates in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Hull, Birmingham, Newport, London and a hometown gig in Liverpool.

The six-piece band, which played a sold out BBC Introducing show at the iconic Cavern Club earlier this year, will begin their tour on 15 September in Edinburgh before finishing their tour in Liverpool's Arts Club Theatre on 24 September, where they will be backed up by a 12-piece band.

The garage/blues rock band, which released its debut LP 'Electric Soul Machine' in 2021, has followed up the launch with support slots for the likes of The Zutons and Red Rum Club after an appearing on BBC Introducing earlier this year. Hits such as 'Satisfy You', 'Awake' and 'No Good' has garnered the band with a cult following.

The Heavy North frontman Kenny Stuart says: “We played a handful of UK shows back in February supporting our mates Cut Glass Kings, but we can’t wait to hit the road for our own headline tour this September”

“We’re especially looking forward to playing Scotland for the first time, as well as our big hometown show in Liverpool at the end of the tour where we’ll be playing Electric Soul Machine in full with some guests”.

Tickets for The Heavy North’s UK tour dates are on sale now on SeeTickets and The Heavy North website.
