The GTA Trilogy was the subject of many people’s ire last year when it came out in a ridiculously buggy state. Rockstar has put out several significant patches since and even apologized for the state of things, though the studio isn’t done yet.
Seemingly out of nowhere, Rockstar announced on Thursday that another patch is coming for the GTA Trilogy soon.
“New patches are coming next week for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition across all platforms,” Rockstar said on Twitter. “We appreciate the community’s patience and support.”
There is no definitive date on when the patch will be out or what it’ll fix, but more information will surely come soon.

Most were expecting the GTA Trilogy to be a slam dunk, especially since Rockstar was keen on the collection before release. The studio did remedy the situation somewhat by offering PC fans free games, though that obviously wasn’t an actual fix and certainly didn’t help those people playing on console.
Rockstar will likely be patching the GTA Trilogy for some time, even with rumors of GTA 6 floating about. Not long ago, fans thought they found hints of the GTA 6 in the GTA Trilogy.
