A well-loved Glasgow pub has unveiled its new look following a considerable makeover.
As reported on Glasgow Live , The Grove in Finnieston was put forward for a glow up in May, with proposals submitted by owners Greene King to planners at Glasgow City Council .
The frontage was to be given an overhaul, with an all-green brickwork facade and gold sign outside - as well as an internal refurbishment.

Having shut its doors on June 29, the pub has now shared a sneak preview of what’s happening inside - and photos of a shiny revamped bar area and brand new seating are all signs of more good things to come.
You won’t have long to wait to see the shiny new bar either - because The Grove reopens today, according to its Facebook page .
The latest post reads: “We made it, just! And am very pleased to say we are open. Come and have a look and say hello …"
We’re fans of the place, having voted it as our pub of the month last year - but we’re not the only ones with a soft spot for the traditional boozer. Pints have been pulled there since the 19th century, although it has gone through various names including the Tower Bar and The Flugga.

The pub is part of a B-listed building thought to date back to 1854, but in recent times has become something of a cult hero, having outlasted the gentrification of trendy Finnieston , as the Argyle Street stretch has become known.
We’ll see you there for a pint to toast The Grove’s new look!
