There are houses for sale on Rightmove that attract attention for various reasons, whether they're selling for a bargain or have a huge million pound price tag. But one property in Greater Manchester has instead caused a stir for having a rather strange feature.
The three-bed end terrace house in Failsworth, Oldham is on the market for £126,000 which is a cheap price in comparison to the average house price of £204,811 in the area. However it is not its cheap price that's got people talking, but rather the odd location of a toilet.
The property, which is situated on Firs Avenue, happens to have a loo in plain sight in the porch which could be clearly visible to neighbours. The toilet stands alone in a room at the back of the house which has several windows but no frosted glass to protect your privacy.

Despite the peculiar feature, the doer-upper house would be a great purchase for a first-time buyer or someone wanting to flip a house.

Previous owners added a double extension to the rear, meaning the ground floor now has a good sized lounge, open plan dining room with a feature brick fireplace, and a kitchen at the back.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms as well as a family bathroom and a small office.

The house, which was added to the market in October, also benefits from a front driveway and a garden to the front and back. Estate agents Bridgfords described the house as a 'tardis' and a 'substantial home which would suit a variety of buyers'.

The period property is available to cash buyers only, but it is not stated why.
History of the house's previous sales on Rightmove shows that it sold for £140,000 back in 2005, and £137,000 in 2009. Therefore it has decreased in value over the years, selling for a much cheaper price now.

The property is set in a good location less than 0.1 miles away from Failsworth train station and Ofsted-rated 'good' Mather Street Primary School less than 0.3 miles away.
It also sits next to Firs Hall and closeby to Parish Church of St John the Evangelist.
