Baking is something that although not everyone will excel at, is certainly something that many can enjoy. And what is better than watching a bunch of celebrities attempt to bake to raise money for charity?
The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer is back on Channel 4 and during the episode airing on Sunday, March 26 comedian and actor Tim Key will be joining AJ Odudu, Gemma Collins and Jessica Hynes in the famous tent. Tim is 46 years old and a poet, comedian, actor, screenwriter and radio presenter from Cambridgeshire.
He is best known for playing Alan Partridge's sidekick Simon in Mid Morning Matters, Alpha Papa, and This Time. Tim has performed many times at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

The comedian is part of the British four-man comedy act Cowards, which is made up of Tim, Stefan Golaszewski, Tom Basden and Lloyd Woolf. The group had a BBC One radio show The Milk Run and BBC Four TV series called Cowards.
Tim has also had minor roles in shows such as Skins, Plebs, Life's Too Short, Stag, Peep Show, Brassic and The End of the F***ing World. He has appeared on panel shows Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Richard Osman's House of Games.
In 2022 Tim starred in the BBC Two comedy series The Witchfinder. That year he also appeared as Ray, nemesis and old archery teammate of Paul (Jim Howick) in an episode of friend Tom Basden's BBC One sitcom, Here We Go.
