The Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith was spotted taking in the sights of Glasgow on an open top bus tour.
The 82-year-old posed for pictures with staff after joining delighted travellers on the tour through the city. The Dame performed her Everything in Moderation tour at Glasgow's King Theatre over the weekend and has been making the most of her time in the city by taking in the sights.
The City Sightseeing Bus team were quick to use a number of appropriate puns when sharing the snap of their special guest on social media. Posting the picture with followers on their Facebook page, the team said: "Top deck for Prue! #nosoggybottoms."
"Our guide Lauren was pleased as pudding to welcome Bake Off star Prue Leith on the bus yesterday!", the post continued.
"In hindsight we really should have baked some tattie scones for the occasion", reports the Daily Record.
The tour drove the chef through the city, giving some insight into spots such as the historic centre at George Square, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum and even passed by the stunning Glasgow Cathedral.
The jaunt would have given Prue some welcome downtime as she continues her first even live tour. Her show explores her life through the ups and downs, detailing how she became the successful restaurateur, novelist and businesswoman she is today.
The Bake Off judge previously spoke about her tour with TV personality and radio host Chris Evans, explaining: "I just talk about my life. And most people think that what I do is eat cake for a living, which of course I do. But I do a lot of other things. And I've had a very interesting life and a wonderful one."
The South African born star was made a Dame in 2021 for her services to food, broadcasting and charity. Prue also have a link to Scotland's capital as she is the Chancellor of Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh.
