The Giants bizarrely left Nick Bosa unblocked on a pass and it was a predictable disaster

If you’re going to play the San Francisco 49ers, you might want to block defensive end Nick Bosa.

The ferocious 49ers pass rusher got the kind of look he loves to see in the first quarter of his team’s Thursday Night Football contest against the New York Giants.

On a play dangerously close to the end zone for New York, Bosa came in hot and basically unblocked to blast quarterback Daniel Jones for a big sack.

It looked like Giants tight end Daniel Bellinger might’ve missed Bosa clean on the play, but poor Jones never stood a chance once Bosa came in for him.

This is the kind of sack play that makes you wince at home, if only because Bosa is one of the best pass rushers of his era and taking him on unblocked is just nightmare fuel for opposing quarterbacks.

Bosa is elite for a reason, and we bet Jones is going to be thinking about this smackdown for quite a while.

NFL fans were stunned by Bosa's unblocked sack of Jones.
