Carrie Fisher's pregnant daughter Billie Lourd has called the late actress the "funniest woman of all time" ahead of her new film Ticket To Paradise.
The actress, 30, who stars alongside George Clooney and Julia Roberts in the romantic drama, added: "Not being funny would just mean that I was not accepted in my family.
“So I needed to be funny to survive.'
Lourd, who revealed on Wednesday - as she debuted her bump at the Ticket To Paradise premiere in London - that she is expecting her second child with husband, Austen Rydell, has made a fair few public tributes to Star Wars legend Fisher since her 2016 death.
Last year, one day after posting a photo to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the star's passing, Lourd, who is also mum to son, Kingston Fisher, one, shared another Instagram homage in the form of a song.
Joined by her Booksmart costar Kaitlyn Dever, and her sister Mady Dever, she sang Fleetwood Mac's Landslide explaining in the caption how she and her mother, "Loved to sing.
We loved Fleetwood Mac. We loved this song."
She added: "It echoed in our living room throughout my childhood, playing slightly too loudly as she scribbled her marvelous manic musings on yellow legal pads (google them if you don't know them - they're the iPads of the past and are still pretty damn hip if you ask me)."
Fisher died of a heart attack on December 27 2016, and her mother (Lourd's grandmother), actress Debbie Reynolds, died one day later.
