From jokes to memes to funny snaps – St Patrick’s Day memes are here and ready to “craic” you up.
As always the internet has not disappointed and a whole host of hilarious puns are already on the web, despite it being early in the day.
St Patrick's Day, on which Ireland’s patron saint is celebrated around the world, is always held on March 17, which has fallen on a Monday this year. It's not a bank holiday in the UK or a federal holiday in the US but it is a public holiday in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
What started out as a religious feast to celebrate the saint who brought Christianity to Ireland has now become synonymous with partying, good food and joyful Guinness drinking.
See some of the funniest takes on the annual holiday right here.
We start with the next most famous Patrick after St Patrick. Who is he? Star Trek’s Patrick Stewart of course.

Happy #StPatricksDay, a day where Americans who couldn't point out Ireland on a map pretend to be 1/153rd Irish for the day so they can try and drink a pint of awfully poured Guinness.
