The remastered version of Dafydd Iwan's iconic Yma O Hyd hit has officially been released ahead of Wales' World Cup campaign along with a brilliant video.
The 79-year-old has become synonymous with Rob Page's side since belting out his famous song prior to the play-off matches against Austria and Ukraine at Cardiff City Stadium earlier this year. Iwan is set to travel to Qatar later this month to cheer on his country as they face the USA, Iran and England in the group stages of the global showpiece.
And just two days before head coach Page confirms his 26-man squad for the tournament, a special World Cup version of Yma O Hyd has been released complete with an epic video.

Voices of the Red Wall singing Yma O Hyd have been blended into the original version of the song - which is now Wales' official World Cup hit. The Football Association of Wales have also released a music video which features legendary moments and the struggles of Welsh football in addition to historical moments including protests around the language.
Part of the video shows Iwan himself being released from prison after he was arrested for campaign in favour of the Welsh language while the miners' strike is also featured.
Hollywood actor Michael Sheen's rousing speech to the current Wales squad also gets a showing, along with various highs and lows of Welsh footballing history interspersed with significant cultural moments.
"Yma O Hyd has become a national slogan and now the song which gave meaning to it is the official anthem of the Cymru national team for the World Cup,” said Dafydd Iwan.
"It’s an impossible dream come true and the incredible sound of the Red Wall on this track is exciting and inspiring to hear. This version of Yma O Hyd forever documents a marvellous moment in Welsh history, with all those wonderful voices helping Cymru reach the World Cup with their passion.
"No other nation will have anything like this to inspire their team on the grandest stage of them all. So c’mon Cymru, let us tell the world that we are here."
The song is now available to stream and download across all major platforms.
