Dozens of roads across Wales are closed due to flooding as Wales continues to get battered by heavy rain. Train services are also seeing major delays.
The River Taff has burst its banks in several areas of Cardiff and the river level in Pontypridd is alarmingly high. Over 20 flood warnings have been issued across the country.
There are also 43 flood alerts in place, warning that flooding is possible. Meanwhile roads have been closed as a result of fallen trees as strong winds and heavy rain continue to batter Wales. Rhondda Cynon Taf council has urged people to only drive if "absolutely necessary" due to hazardous driving conditions and surface water across the borough.

These are all the roads affected by road closures due to flooding, fallen trees or debris:
- Gyfeillon Road, Trehafod (A4058) - The road is closed in both directions between the Heritage Park and Travis Perkins
- Llanellen, Monmouthshire (A4042) - The road is closed in both directions between Llanfoist turn off and the A40 (Hardwick Roundabout)
- The Strand, Builth Wells (A483) - The one way street is closed between Strand Street and Brecon turn off
- Pwll Road, Burry Port (A484) - The road is closed in both directions due to accident
- Link road to the A470 in Pontypridd - The link road southbound between the A4233 Bridge Street to join the A470 from Pontypridd is currently closed
- Bwlch Mountain Road - One lane closure in place due to a blocked culvert which has caused stones and mud to spread across the carriageway
- Fford-Yr-Eglwys, Peterston-Super-Ely, closed in both directions between the church and Sportsmand Rest
- Llanellen (A4042) - The road is closed due to flooding
