The full list of dates when the big Christmas events in Cardiff close

While the Christmas spirit and festivities are in full swing in Cardiff sadly it can not be Christmas forever. The Winter Wonderland will have to pack up, the Spiegeltent tent will have to be taken down and the lights turned off for another year.

Cardiff Winter Wonderland

The Winter Wonderland outside of City Hall and the ice skating in the Cardiff Castle grounds will be open to enjoy until Sunday, January 8. You can book the ice skating and prices start at £11.50. Grab your tickets here.

Cardiff Christmas Market

The Christmas market is a great place to grab Christmas presents (John Myers)

You will be able to grab Christmas presents and mooch along the stalls at the Cardiff Christmas market until Friday, December 23. You can read everything you need to know about the market here.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at New Theatre

The pantomime for Cardiff's New Theatre is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Ian ‘H’ Watkins from the international pop group Steps will lead the cast in this year’s magical family pantomime as The Man In The Mirror. The show is running until Sunday, January 8 2023 and you can book your tickets here.

Santa Experience at Principality Stadium

Santa is coming to the Principality Stadium and for the first time in the stadium’s history, Santa will be taking over the Wales team home changing room for the month of December. This experience will end on Christmas Eve.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £12 for those under 16, which includes a free gift from Santa. Or family tickets are available for £40 for two adults and two children. You can book here.

Christmas at Bute Park

The spectacular light show is returning to Cardiff's Bute Park. Lighting up Bute Park this light trail is magical and enchanting and will run until Sunday, January 1, 2023. You can read more about Christmas at Bute Park 2022 here.

Tickets are on sale now for £19.50 for adults and £13.95 for children aged three to 16. Children under three go free and you can buy your ticket here.

Cardiff Castle Christmas Festival

Playing host to a specially-made Spiegeltent which will show a Christmas ballet, family musical, comedy cabaret and burlesque in Cardiff Castle. The different shows will continue to run until Sunday, January 8.
