The top hotels in the UK have been named by the readers of an influential travel mag – with Scottish venues dominating the top 10. Though London had a category all for itself in the Conde Nast Traveller awards, when it came to the rest of the UK, hotels from across Scotland were by far the most popular.
The research was put together as part of the 2022 Readers' Choice Awards, with the scores representing the percentages of overall average levels of satisfaction.
A post by Conde Nast read: "Spanning the widths and breadths of the UK, this year's picks as voted by you, have seen you steadfast in your loyalty to iconic hotels in London and Oxfordshire – some have wandered toward a more traditional heritage scene, rejuvenating a passion for the wilds of Ireland and Scotland, while others have favoured the artistic and cultural hotel scene connecting cities from across the water.
"With something for everyone, unleash your inner nomad."
