Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma looked like real-life angels during their romantic Italian wedding last weekend, and we finally have our mitts on the first photos of the couple!!!
The Pitch Perfect star shared some sweet snaps of her ceremony on Instagram, showing how idyllic the setting was. The pair tied the knot in Sardinia, Italy, at the Hotel Cala di Volpe.
The pair looked genuinely stoked in white off-the-shoulder dresses as they held hands. Folks, this Italian location seriously looks like a dream.
“Married. Sardinia 28.9.24,” Rebel Wilson captioned the snap.
The bride also shared another wedding photo where she posed on a balcony for a photographer, where she was lit to perfection by a lil’ handheld flash.
From more snaps of the wedding — which you can see here — it looks like Wilson and Agruma walked down the aisle together, hand-in-hand. They exchanged vows under a giant arch covered in white flowers beside the water.
The ceremony was small and intimate with “about 60” guests, and according to US Magazine, no other celebs were present. Their source claimed a bunch of Wilson’s Pitch Perfect costars were invited, but they “couldn’t make it because [the wedding] was organised last minute”.
However, both Wilson and Agruma’s families were very involved. While Wilson noted in June she had yet to meet Agruma’s mother, her new mother-in-law was there for the big day.
“Rebel’s family [was] there. Her mum [Sue Bownds], her sisters Liberty and Anarchy,” the source added. “Her niece Sovereign was a flower girl and so was [Wilson and Agruma’s] daughter Royce.”
One of Wilson’s close childhood friends, Nick Hills, actually officiated the ceremony, and the insider said the couple “had an amazing time and are very happy”.
Back in 2023, Wilson mentioned Agruma had taken the lead on wedding planning, as she was so busy with work.
“Ramona gave me a wedding planning survival kit, I think as a joke,” she told People. “But then she’s like, ‘look at this venue’, or ‘what do you think about this resort?’ And then I was at work all day and I came back and she’s created a guest list.”
At the time, she said she was hoping for a more elaborate celebration while Agruma wanted “the opposite”, and noted they would need to “compromise”.
The pair managed to keep their surprise wedding under wraps in the lead up, which could be partly due to it being “organised last minute”. Congratulations to the happy couple!
