Look, Nick Saban probably has a whole library filled with some of the best plays of his storied career.
But the last one of his Alabama tenure and of his coaching career? He’d probably like to have that one back now that he’s reportedly retiring.
That would be that 4th-and-goal call in the Rose Bowl against Michigan that ended the Crimson Tide’s attempted run to another overtime. Saban didn’t blame offensive coordinator Tommy Rees or anything. He just said at the time that they didn’t get the block they hoped for.
