Fashion Sakala admits he feels like a football player once again after a rebirth at Rangers under Michael Beale.
The Zambian attacker has been a key player under the new management regime and the show of faith in the forward has proved fruitful with three goals and three assists in just six games. The latest strike was a stunning volleyed effort to get the Light Blues off the mark at Tannadice against Dundee United with the smile on his face evidence he is 'very happy' again.
Signed by former Rangers boss Steven Gerrard while Beale as his No2, life proved tough for the attacker under Giovanni van Bronckhorst with his appearances coming mainly from the bench. It was a hard period in his career at Ibrox but the transformation since the World Cup return has proved a fresh start and it is one he has grabbed with both hands.

It all kicked off with back-to-back goals against Hibs and Aberdeen in Beale's first two games before an assist against Ross County. He was then the star of the show for Rangers against Celtic with two assists and the main threat throughout. His pace and direct running style caused Celtic all sorts of problems with the supporters showing their appreciation at a sold-out Ibrox. He then carried that form into Tannadice with a brilliant touch and strike effort to send the away fans wild.
Speaking about his run in the Rangers starting team, he told Sky Sports said: "I’m very happy. I hope I continue to work extra hard and get game time. I appreciate the good work from the other players.
"They are helping me to get the confidence to stay in the team all the time. Obviously the more I play the more I can feel motivated and I’m getting confident.
"It was very difficult at the beginning of the season. Now, I’m feeling like a football player again and I’m very happy."
On his chats with Beale, he continued: "He just told me when he came in that I know the task. I know why they signed me. He was on the technical staff under Steven Gerrard when I signed for Rangers.
"He told me to remember what we spoke about before I joined the club. You know what you can do and I trust you. I want you to get your confidence back. I knew from that moment that this was my time."
