The Atlanta Falcons celebrated this year’s training camp with a heck of a team activity.
According to Falcons quarterback (and recent birthday boy) Kirk Cousins, Atlanta coach Raheem Morris surprised the Dirty Birds with a water park day at Margaritaville’s Fins Up Water Park in Buford, Georgia.
“YEARS (decades) of dreaming about a “water park day” during training camp…and today our dream was fulfilled. Coach [Morris] surprised us after the morning lift & meetings,” Cousins wrote on his Instagram. “We took full advantage!”
The eventful day for the Falcons gave us an absolutely incredible photo of Cousins going down a water slide in a tube and screaming in fun on the way down.
The Falcons Instagram account shared some other great photos of the water park day, including a great one of tight end Kyle Pitts having a similar reaction as Cousins going down a water slide.
The Falcons haven’t reached the playoffs since the 2017 season, and a special day like this shows the team is having fun and that things may well be trending in the right direction for Atlanta.
