Chinese New Year limited edition gifts are now on sale!

We may have only just recovered from the night of December 31, but there’s another big party on the horizon: Chinese New Year. The calendar follows 12 animals of the zodiac, and 2023 is the moment for the rabbit to shine.

Naturally some of the country’s biggest and brightest brands have devised special gifts in honour of the new lunar year, perfect for a spot of gifting or just a little self-gift to brighten up January.

See the best gifts to give this Chinese New Year here.

Carhartt WIP X Marni

For the first time, luxury Italian fashion house Marni has collaborated with Carhartt WIP, the workwear brand’s ready-to-wear offshoot that was founded in London in 1997, for a collection of utilitarian pieces that have been given the classic optimistic Marni twist, with an injection of bright colours, all over prints, and playful shapes.

Launching on January 14 with a party at Marni’s flagship during Milan Fashion Week Men’s, the collection will be available from Marni.com, and in selected stores of both brands. We’re sure this will be a sell-out.

Grey Goose Igloos at Vinegar Yard

Whether you're not quite finished with celebrating or have a special occasion to mark this winter, head to Vinegar Yard in London Bridge station. Until the end of February, Grey Goose is holding court hosting its special Winter Village.

The premium vodka brand is serving up tasty cocktails like espresso martinis and snacks under the cover of transparent igloos to protect you from the worst of January's weather.

There's also a Grey Goose Winter Chalet at the Mondrian Shoreditch for those who like the idea of an Alpine-themed evening.

LoveShackFancy

New York based LoveShackFancy, a cult favourite brand mainly known for ruffle dresses, floral tops, and romantic designs (Bridgerton... but make it 2023), has dropped its first ever activewear collection, merging its signature feminine prints with performancewear.

From sports bras to leggings, athletic dresses to tank tops, it’s stylish, comfortable and functional - and will even look good outside of the gym. Whilst the prices are at the higher end of the spectrum, ranging from £100 to £150, we think the unique designs are totally worth it.

RIXO launches ‘New Beginnings’ collection

The cult fashion brand famous for its instantly-recognisable prints and superior cuts is bucking the trends once again - by launching less clothing on its site. In an effort to help customers shop more mindfully by buying less and wearing more, newness on RIXO’s site will come out once a month, down from the current twice-weekly drops. If the new collection is anything to go by, it’ll be worth the wait: January’s drop spotlights sweet daisy across the line as well spring checks and fresh print mixes. The 34-strong collection will also include 12 styles that go up to a UK dress size 22- 24.
